MEG IGARASHI: Tokyo-Based Video Editor and Videographer

Freelance videographer and video editor Meg Igarashi was born in the United States and had to move to Japan when she was a teenager. Not so interested in school, Meg found she had a passion for video making when she started making videos for fun with the webcam on her laptop. In this week’s episode of Nonnative Creative, learn how Meg turned this passion into a freelance lifestyle in Tokyo! Meg shared about her recent workshop with Adobe, a film she had accepted to a film festival, and her advice for creators.

It’s finally up!!! 🥳🙌 So this project took a while and a lot of hard work haha. 😅 I’ve been editing this on and off for the past few months and I wrote a script, recorded voiceovers, screen recordings, edited an entire video for the example, and then edited different videos for the project. I am so happy to announce my BEGINNER GUIDE TO PREMIERE PRO & EDITING TIPS is now up on @skillshare . You can watch it free on Skillshare with a 2 month free trial in the link in my bio. If you’ve ever been interested in editing videos but didn’t know where to start, this is a great video for you!! Please check it out and share it to any friends that are interested in making videos. I really hope it can help people start creating. Thank you. 💛😊🙏 . . #skillshare #firstonlineclass #videoediting #videocreator #videoeditor #freelancer #wfh #learnfromhome #startcreating #enjoycreatenow #tokyofilmmaker #vlogger #dowhatyoulove #premierepro @adobevideo
