MAX FRENZEL: AI Researcher and Co-author of the book Time Off

In this episode of Nonnative Creative, Max Frenzel shares about how his studies led him from his home country of Germany to London, Greece, and Japan. While working and studying, Max had the opportunity to travel and reflect on his work, leading him to realize that “busy” does not always equal” productive.” In this discussion, Max talks about his brand new book “Time Off: A Practical Guide to Building Your Rest Ethic and Finding Success Without the Stress,” which explores a variety of ways of taking time off through sharing profiles of historical figures. The book also explores the creative process and gives inspiration for new/different ways to spend one’s leisure time. This talk includes tips for how to find time for yourself (even if you’re a stressed student or a busy parent).

I’m so proud to announce that our book Time Off: A Practical Guide to Building Your Rest Ethic and Finding Success Without the Stress has finally been released, after almost two years of work. The book looks at how history’s greatest minds, as well as some of the most successful leaders, thinkers, and creatives of today, found success by practicing a more balanced approach to work and life. It’s full of stories, science, and practical advice, and it’s also absolutely beautiful thanks to the many illustrations by @mariyasuzuki. You can get it on Amazon, as well as any other major book retailer, and you might even be able to order it from your local bookstore (although it will probably take them a few weeks to have the book in their catalogue). You can also find a link in my bio. This launch week is super important for us to gather momentum and we need your help to grow the Time Off movement! Please consider buying the book this week, and maybe also an extra copy or two as a gift for the people in your life who could benefit from a bit more time off. Reviews are also extremely important and help us rank higher in Amazon’s search (I’ll buy everyone who reads the book and leaves a review a drink or coffee the next time we meet! 😉) And besides that, we'd appreciate any help with sharing and spreading the word! @johnfitch, @mariyasuzuki and I are beyond thrilled to get the book into your hands! 🙂 #timeoff #timeoffbook #restethic #futureofwork #calmleadership #workplaceculture #workculture #remotework #creativity #productivity #worklifebalance #selfpublishing #ingramsparkauthor #sparkunboxing
